Prefabricated ceiling board

FILIGRAN

A partially prefabricated FILIGRAN ceiling board is a combined construction, consisting of a reinforced concrete board – manufactured in factory conditions – and a layer of “cast” concrete manufactured at the construction site (concrete overlay). The lower layer with the main lower reinforcement is manufactured as a precast concrete unit with steel latticed jacks protruding over the element and the upper surface is strongly roughed. It is reinforced with longitudinal lattices made of reinforcing steel which counterbrace it during the deforming, assembly and concrete phase, and after the concrete overlay has bonded they protect the ceiling against stratification.

  • boards are manufactured for each ceiling individually
  • the thickness of a ready ceiling can range between 100 to 300 cm.

The FILIGRAN combined ceiling is an excellent constructional solution. It meets the requirements of housing, industrial, rural and general construction while not limiting the creative freedom of architects.
The combined ceiling combines the advantages of the prefabricated and monolithic ceilings.
- adjusting the load capacity to the ceiling’s operational use conditions
- taking into account, during the manufacturing stage, any usable and aesthetic openings (e.g. ventilation chutes, water and sewerage apertures, staircase)

  • low deadweight of a board (125 – 175 kg/m2)
  • simple and fast assembly – directly from a vehicle
  • timbering and planking unnecessary
  • elimination of the plastering of the bottom surface
  • shortening of the investment cycle

Owing to the continuous supervision over the manufacturing quality of the Filigran ceilings by our personnel as well as by the Central Research and Development Centre of the Concrete Industry “CEBET”, the manufacturing quality is guaranteed.
