NORDCOOP Sp. z o.o. NORDCOOP Ltd. was founded in Gdańsk in 1993 . It launched its activities by leading orders for steel structure production for the ship industry and other customers.
Finished steel products as well as steel prefabricated goods were manufactured at te company's own mechanical-welding facility located in Gdańsk-Kokoszki as well as part of regular coopeoration with subcontractors in Poland.
With every passing year the number of compleated orders was increasing and production capabilities less and less able to cope with the increasing volume.
At the end of the 90s NORDCOOP Ltd. purchased land and manufacturing buildings with cranes in Gdynia at. Hutnicza street, in order to be able to manufacture large and diversified steel structures which in combination with the already owned mechanical-welding facility extended the company's potential to include production of the steel structures requiring complex processing. At present NORDCOOP is able to manufacture from 200 to 250 tons of steel structures per month and all these works can be performed under Germanischer Lloyd supervision.
As the company was expanding in 1999 it launched activities in the construction sector by manufacturing concrete prefabricated goods that were awarded the "B" safety sign.
The year 2002 brought new challenges fot the company and the previously planned diversification of activities which were expanded to include housing construction as en investor and developer at the land purchased in Gdynia-Dąbrowa.
In 2003 due to the company's consolidation the mechanical-welding facility was moved from Gdańsk-Kokoszki to the Steel Structure Facility at Hutnicza street in Gdynia . By the end of that year the company's head office was also moved from Gdańsk to Gdynia to the same place.
As a result of implementation of accepted objectives and taking into account the interests of our customers at the begining of 2005, the company implemented an ISO 9001:2000 compliant quality management system as a result of which NORDCOOP was awarded with ISO certificate no. 274/2005 by PIHZ for:
